7 Colors For Making A New Start In Interior Painting in Ottawa, Ontario
In the course of looking to make your home look better, one thing that you may want to consider is taking on changing the color of the interior walls of any given room — or perhaps multiple rooms as it were.
One thing that you can do in the course of painting one of your interior rooms is to choose a new color for it — you don’t have to stick with the same color that you had before, that is.
By choosing a new color for your home interior, you can make a nice new start for the room as it were and change the whole feel of the room for the better so to speak.
With that being the case, let’s now look at and consider seven colors for making a new start in Ottawa, Ontario.
1. Eggshell
One color that you’re going to appreciate in terms of painting your home and making a new start is eggshell, which as you might imagine is a lot like the shell of an egg in color.
It’s quite a remarkable color in that it will go along with just about anything that you have in the room color-wise, and you don’t have to worry about the color having a contrast that doesn’t work with it as it were.
2. Light Green
If you are at all a fan of colors for your interior spaces that are more natural as it were, you may well appreciate painting one of the rooms in your home a nice light green.
There are a lot of lighter greens that will look perfectly fantastic, ranging from ones that you can see that look a bit more like some of the nicer kinds of plants that you can find outside to ones that are darker in color and yet still light as far as greens go.
3. Sky Blue
When you really want to make a new start in your home you really can’t go wrong if you choose to paint one of your rooms a nice sky blue which as you can imagine has the appeal of the sky, color-wise, on a beautiful cloudless day.
There are many psychological benefits to using the color blue in your home interior including the change in mood that it brings about.
4. Pink
Another fantastical color for you to choose for your home interior if you really want to add a splash of a happier color is pink.
Though you may not think of pink as being a color that would work in any context other than trying to make your home look more like a home of dreams that dolls aspire to live in, this is not necessarily the case.
Depending on the shade of pink that you use, you can really brighten a room.
5. Orange
Orange paint is said to bring a certain sort of calm to your home – and making the choice of having the paint in your home can really add just a touch of happiness to your space as it were.
It’s also full of energy, which is definitely a positive thing depending on what room you use it in – a good fitness room, for example, will be tremendously good if you paint it some shade of orange.
6. Ivory
If you’re at all familiar with the stone ivory, you will certainly appreciate the color as well and you are going to be able to give the room that lovely shade of off-white without having to actually apply real ivory to your wall as it were.
It’s simple enough that you can basically have just about anything in the room, again without worrying about clashing.
7. Blue Gray
Lastly, think about making use of the color blue-gray – which might seem a bit confusing at first glance but it actually makes sense.
You have the gray, which you may know well — and then all you have to do is add a bit of blue to it and you have a nice color that will make your room look significantly better!
