7 Creative Ideas For Painting A Child’s Bedroom in Ottawa, Ontario

A child’s bedroom can be a fantastical place of merriment and wonder, and this is especially the case when we take the time to make it look nicer — which sometimes can be done on our own, and sometimes only with the help of others.

The beginning of any good creative bedroom project, however, must start with inspiration — what to paint and how to make the room look just a bit different, giving the child or children something to look forward to seeing every day.

Let’s look at seven creative ideas for painting a child’s bedroom in Ottawa, Ontario.

1. Underwater Grotto

One good choice that you may want to go for in terms of painting your child’s bedroom is that of an underwater grotto, the kind of place where you might see creatures that are so very rarely seen on land and perhaps even never seen there.

The nice thing about this kind of painting situation is that though you might think that you are going to be limited to basically one kind of blue, that is not the case at all and you’re going to be able to paint using a number of shades of blue to represent the sea as well as to make use of other colors to show off the different kinds of life that you will be able to find in the water.

This will include plants and animals of course, but perhaps even treasures and explorers that might have come to the grotto to find said treasures!

2. Cave Adventure

Speaking. of adventure, you can make for a fun bedroom if you paint the child’s room to look like a cave in which your child or children are going to be able to have a fun adventure.

The fun thing about a good cave adventure is that the things that you introduce into the cave are entirely dependent on the imagination of the people who are going to be dwelling in the cave — and perhaps a little help from the parents of said dwellers!

There are many things you can put into a cave including the stalagmites, the stalactites, and even some of the fun cave dwellers that are within.

3. Cloud Palace

A lovely place for your child to dwell is within what one might call a cloud palace.

This kind of structure is fairly simple to understand, seeing as the walls and ceilings will be decorated with images of what you might think a palace would look like if it were made with clouds.

Though you would think that a cloud palace would be a bit dull but this does not have to be the case — it can be just about as interesting as you might want it to be.

4. Space Time

Speaking of places that are quite impressive in terms of exploration, space is quite an amazing one and a great one for your child’s bedroom walls as well.

The wonderful thing about space is that it is so extremely full of wonderful and interesting things for your children — asteroids being only one of them, of course, as well as mighty things like shooting stars and the like.

5. Paris

In terms of ways to make your child’s bedroom look significantly more pleasant, you can’t go much better than Paris.

To paint the bedroom to look like Paris means that you are going to add things like the streets to the walls so that it looks as though you are walking down said streets, or perhaps to make it look like there are stores or even restaurants in the distance.

6. Football / Soccer

If your child or children are fans of sports, it’s entirely possible for them to be quite fond of having football, soccer, or perhaps any other sport that they like as a painted theme on the wall.

You can paint representations of the sport being played on the walls, for example, or even have a variety of sports represented with the equipment being on the walls.

7. Superhero!

Lastly, think about the kinds of superheroes that your children like, and how much they would possibly like to see those superheroes on the wall.

As an added bonus, you can even put some of their favorite villains from the comics and movies to make the bedroom that much more interesting.
